Arrests Made in Shelly B’s Burglary

A Memphis man is in custody and two juveniles have been turned over to the appropriate authorities concluding an investigation into a recent burglary in Memphis.

The Memphis Police Department arrested Jesse M. Knowles, 20, of Memphis on Thursday, September 30.

He is being charged with a class C felony of receiving stolen property valued at $500 or more.

The arrested resulted from a joint investigation by the police department and the Scotland County Sheriff’s Office regarding a break-in at Shelly B’s lounge in Memphis.

A large amount of packaged liquor was stolen from the site after hours on September 26th.
