Five SCR-I Track Athletes Earn All-Conference Honors

Five Scotland County track athletes earned Tri-Rivers All-Conference honors based on their performances at the 2009 conference track meet.

Elizabeth Duzan earned first team honors by winning the 100-meter hurdles. The freshman also took home second team all-conference accolades in the 300-meter hurdles.

Anna Duley earned second team recognition in the mile and Melissa Cotton was named to the second team in the high jump.

On the boys squad, state qualifiers Rodney and Sabe Sears both earned second team all-conference honors. Sabe was honored in the high jump and Rodney earned the award in the 800-meter run.
