Rutledge to Host Annual Fall Festival
The 13th Annual Rutledge Fall Festival will get underway September 19th. Exhibitors will start setting up at 9:00 a.m. with the raffle sales starting at 9:30 a.m. The parade is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. with plenty of entertainment planned throughout the afternoon.
The kidsí games will kick off after the parade, along with the frog jumping contest, dime toss, face painting pedal tractor pull and back-seat driver contest.
Lunch will be served in the park starting at 11:30 a.m. Open stage musical performances will get underway after lunch. A square dance presentation is set for 1:00 p.m. to be followed by bingo in the community building.
The festival will feature an agriculture contest with prizes sponsored by Crows Seed Corn Company for the top three finishers in the tallest corn stalk, bean plant and horseweed contests. Entries need to be checked in by 11:00 a.m.
The raffle grand prizes will be announced at 3:30 p.m.
