Municipal Election Set For April 6th
The Memphis city government could have a very different look come April. Four of the six elected positions will be up for vote in the municipal election set for April 6, 2010.
The two-year terms of Mayor William Reckenberg and Alderman James Parker and Chris Feeney will expire in April. City Marshal John Myers will also complete his first four-year term then.
Filing will officially open for the offices on December 15 and run until January 19, 2010. Candidates may file at the Memphis City Hall.
