Fair Board to Host Halloween Events

The Scotland County Fair Board will be hosting a pair of Halloween events at the fairgrounds on Friday night.

The public is invited to attend a family-style haunted hayride complete with a bonfire and hot chocolate. Participants are asked to meet at the swine barn at the fairgrounds beginning at 6:30 p.m. The event is a free-will offering with all proceeds going to support the 2009 Scotland County Fair.

The Scotland County Dog Club will host its first annual pet costume contest at this time at the swine barn on the fairgrounds. All participants will receive Halloween treats.
