Elvis Wade To Perform in Memphis on November 8th
Elvis Wade will return to the Memphis Theatre on Thursday, November 8th for one big show. Wade continues to perform to sold-out performances around the country with his concert act which contains a 14-piece band, including seven backup singers and a 3-piece brass section.
Elvis is frequently booked with some of the top symphonies in the country including the Atlanta, Phoenix, Fort Worth, and the New Mexico symphony to name a few. He just returned from Beaumont, TX, where he sang before a full house at the Beaumont civic center. He will leave Memphis a little early this year for a show in Fort Myers, FL.
Wade likes the intimacy of the small audience and being alone on stage. “It takes a real entertainer to keep the attention of the audience without a full band,” he says. He also gets to perform material other than just Elvis even though the Elvis portion remains to be the core of the show.
Last year’s Memphis show around 15 fans drive from Burlington, IA for the evening and over 30 have already reserved tickets from Burlington for this year’s event. Many come from Keokuk and Fort Madison, IA so we suggest that you get your tickets early.
All and all it promises to be a great night of laughter, singing along with some oldies, and reliving your youth at this year’s annual concert with Elvis Wade!
