CAROLYN JOYCE TUCK
(3/25/1943 – 4/7/2005)
Carolyn Joyce Tuck, 62, of Baring, MO, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2005, in Gulfport, MS, at the Garden Park Hospital, while vacationing with family and friends.
She was born on March 25, 1943, in Gothenburg, NE, the daughter of Steve C. and Dorothy Bowdish.
She attended Memphis High School and in the spring of 1959, she was united in marriage to a “wild” Minor L. Tuck in Unionville, MO. The couple had an outstanding marriage and was blessed with 46 years of bliss, which is due to a strong communication with lots of laughter mixed with selfless love of each other.
Carolyn is survived by her mother, Dorothy Bowdish of Memphis, MO; her husband, Minor L. Tuck of Baring, MO; two children, Kimberly Dunivan and husband, Mike of Linwood, KS and daughter, Danielle, Steve Tuck of Wellsville, KS and daughter, Jerrica Tuck; three adopted children/grandchildren, Justin Tuck and wife, Julie of Silverdal, WA, Joshua Tuck and wife, Cathleen of Lakenheath, England, and Ashley Tuck of KS; five brothers and sisters, Eugene Bowdish and wife, Rosy of Davenport, IA, Darlene Crouch and husband, Bill of Albany, MO, Richard Bowdish of Overland Park, KS, Karen Small and husband, Kermit of Baring, MO, and Steve Bowdish and wife, Donna of Philadelphia, MO; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding her in death was her father, Steve C. Bowdish; one son, Merlyn K. Tuck (father of Justin, Joshua, and Ashley Tuck); one sister, Cheryl Snowbarger; and two grandchildren, Jessica Tuck (daughter of Steven Tuck) and Richard Pate (son of Kimberly Dunivan).
Carolyn and her husband, Minor lived and worked in the Shawnee and Wellsville, KS area for much of their life, until retiring to Baring, MO to a quieter lifestyle. Carolyn was a selfless woman who thought the world of all her family and friends. She loved to cook and crochet. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

A memorial service was held April 12, 2005, at the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO. A small graveside service will be held at a later date in Wellsville, KS.
