Rams Continued To Be Thorn In Side of SCR-I Golf Team
Two neighboring schools are generating quite a rivalry on the golf course. For the second time this season Schuyler County slipped by the SCR-I Tigers golfers.
The Rams shot a 157 to best SCR-I’s score of 168 at a triangular meet held in Milan April 19.
Milan’s Andy Herrington was the individual medalist, shooting a 35. Corvin Drummond of Scotland County had the second best individual score with a 37.
Zach McBee turned in a round of 41 and Kyle Lister shot a 42 for the Tigers, who were minus a number of their regulars because of a scheduling conflict.
Jessie Mattingly carded a 48 and Andy Cowell shot a 51 to round out the varsity team.
The Tigers JV scored a 210 to edge the Milan junior varsity.
Kyle Hoskinson had the top score for the SCR-I JV team with a 45. Chris Chabert carded a 48 followed by Micheal Monroe with a 57 and Loren Billington with a 60.
