Car Destroyed By Fire On Bence Street

The Memphis Fire Department responded to a car fire at a residence on Bence Street at approximately 8:45 p.m. November 6th.

The car, a Thunderbird, owned by Brian Mallett of Memphis, sustained extensive damage in the blaze.

The fire was caused by a burning trash pile located adjacent to the parked vehicle.

Firemen were able to quickly bring the blaze under control. The department was on the scene for approximately 30 minutes.
