J’s Register Tapes for Education Program Helping Local Schools
Everyone buys groceries. Now everyone that buys groceries at J’s Foods in Memphis can help their local school districts. For the third year, J’s is participating in the Affiliated Foods Midwest program Register Tapes for Education.
Cash register receipts from J’s can be turned into participating districts to allow schools to receive free educational materials. These register tapes are being collected by the Scotland County R-I, Gorin R-III and Wyaconda C-I districts.
Every dollar of purchases on the register tapes helps the district earn purchase points which can be redeemed for materials such as computers, science projects, band instruments, sports equipment, art materials, books and much more.
The collection period began September 1 and will run through March 30, 2005. Register tapes from J’s may be sent with students to the local school or may be dropped off directly at the school office.
“The students and faculty of Scotland County R-I would appreciate your support by saving your register tapes from J’s in order to help them receive their needed equipment,” said SCR-I Elementary Principal Rob Moore.
