Local Man Taken Into Custody On Colorado Warrants

A Memphis man is in the Scotland County jail awaiting extradition to Colorado following his arrest December 10 at 5:30 p.m. in a traffic stop in Scotland County.

Christopher D. Theibault, 34, was taken into custody on two outstanding warrants from Colorado charging him with distribution of a schedule two drug (methamphetamine) and trespassing in the first degree. He is being held in the Scotland County jail on $5,000 and is awaiting transport to Colorado after waiving extradition.
