Three People Hurt In Crash On Scotland County Gravel Road
Three Clark County residents were injured when the vehicle they were traveling in overturned on a Scotland County gravel road near the intersection of Route U and Highway 136 at 11:30 a.m. November 3.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Joseph Burgess, 30, of Luray was westbound on the gravel road in a 1995 Chrysler when he apparently lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its side.
Burgess and two passengers in his vehicle, Dusty Stark, 12, of Kahoka, and Samantha Roberts, 17, of Luray were taken by private auto to Scotland County Memorial Hospital. Roberts sustained moderate injuries while Stark and Burgess both reportedly sustained minor injuries.
